As the owner, operator, and captain of Alaskan Wild Adventures, Skylar's priority is a safe, fun, and successful charter. With 9 years of experience fishing in Cook Inlet, he has expert knowledge of halibut hot spots, regulations, and traversing the waters along the Kenai Peninsula.

Skylar's 27ft vessel has a 6-client capacity with an enclosed cabin for colder days and fast travel. The twin 200hp engines maintain a cruising speed of 30 knots.

Halibut and Fishermen

Our primary target on fishing charters is halibut, but it's possible to hook into cod, salmon shark, skate, and octopus. Each trip is 6-10 hours depending on desired species and tides.

Ninilchik is a small fishing town on the Kenai Peninsula, about 3.5 hours from Anchorage International Airport by car. Home to world-class fishing and the Deep Creek Tractor Launch, it serves as a great basecamp for anyone who plans to explore and fish South Central, Alaska.
